In efforts to better serve our members, the Board of Directors and leadership of POSNA administer a Needs Assessment Survey every two to three years. This online survey is sent out electronically to all POSNA members, typically during the summer months.
The Needs Assessment Survey serves a number of purposes. First, it provides up-to-date demographic information and practice characteristics of our growing and every-changing membership. In addition, the survey solicits important feedback regarding educational, research, and advocacy efforts of POSNA. Finally, with the changing healthcare landscape, the Needs Assessment Survey provides critical insight into specialty topics, such as volunteer efforts, philanthropy, partnerships with international and subspecialty societies, innovation, and our relationships with industry partners.
With the information obtained from the Needs Assessment Survey, the Board of Directors strives to improve POSNA’s ability to achieve its mission of education, research, and advocacy, all to provide the best quality musculoskeletal care of pediatric patients.
