BIOMET Research Grant

BIOMET RESEARCH AWARD

The Biomet Research Award is offered in support of projects investigating Pediatric Spine Disorders or General Pediatric Orthopaedics. Qualifying areas of investigation include clinical and basic science research, as well as multi-center or POSNA- wide projects. Research with pre-existing funding that may need supplemental support, as well as complete research proposals will be considered for funding. The award is for research of one year with funding up to $45,000. Research grant budgets should be detailed with this in mind. Priority is assigned based upon the scientific quality, importance of the research to the mission of POSNA, and ability of the work to help in the establishment of new areas of research which can grow to attract additional funding and career development.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Principal Investigator or the Co-Principal Investigator must be a member of POSNA.

Applications are due October 19 and will be adjudicated solely by the POSNA Research Committee.

You can contact the POSNA office at (847)698-1692 or e-mail at posna@aaos.org
