Awards History
Arthur H. Huene Memorial Award
The May 1991 meeting of our Society marked the inauguration of the Arthur H. Huene Memorial Award for excellence and promise in Pediatric Orthopaedics. The award consists of a commemorative certificate and a monetary award of $25,000, generously provided by the St. Giles Foundation, intended to be applied by the recipient to continuing work in Pediatric Orthopaedics. The award is made to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of Pediatric Orthopaedics and who offers the potential of continuing that contribution in the future.
