ARTHUR H. HUENE MEMORIAL AWARD
The Arthur H. Huene Memorial Award for Excellence and Promise in Pediatric Orthopaedics will be presented by the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America under the sponsorship of the St. Giles Foundation. Through the generosity of the St. Giles Foundation and the Huene family, the award will be $30,000. Although past accomplishments is one of the criteria, the monetary award is intended to be applied to, and the primary criteria for adjudication is, a research project of high quality and potential impact in the field of pediatric orthopaedics. The deadline for applications is October 19.
Application Process
1. Applicants should submit:
- a current curriculum vitae.
- a one page description of past research accomplishments.
- a completed grant application.
- a timeline for completion of the project.
2. NOTE: The Principal Investigator or the Co-Principal Investigator must be a member of POSNA.
3. Applications will be adjudicated by the POSNA research committee.
